“ASSAGGIA IL MONDO 2010”
dalla mattina fino a chiusura del mercato Esquilino

Il Rione Esquilino custodisce un tesoro prezioso: il mercato di Piazza Vittorio, un mondo in piccolo sotto lo stesso tetto. Tra i suoi colori, odori e sapori è possibile viaggiare attraverso continenti e culture lontane, la maggior parte delle volte sconosciute o fraintese.
Da qui l’idea di Esquilin d o - Assaggia il Mondo di proporre alla città un viaggio gastronomico e culturale attraverso la conoscenza di tre alimenti simbolici ed il loro uso nelle diverse culture, per promuovere l’idea che l’interculturalità may also arise at the table.

Esquilin d o - Assaggia il Mondo si propone come un evento cittadino, nato dalla partecipazione di molte associazioni, scuole, comunità e realtà che vivono e/o operano nel Rione Esquilino e che intendono valorizzarlo come luogo di crescita interculturale anche attraverso il Nuovo Mercato Esquilino.
Inoltre Esquilin d o - Assaggia il Mondo prosegue nel 2011 con altri due appuntamenti, in corrispondenza dei festeggiamenti del Capodanno Cinese e del Carnevale.
